I have been coming to Doha DL for several years now. It is the start of the elite outdoor season for me. For media, it is a great place to get early season interviews of the athletes, coaches, trainers and suppliers of track gossip.
The spirit of innovation is in Doha. The Presser, normally a closed affair for media only, is now open to the public. It will be held in a shopping center of some reknown in Doha, and the fans will be able to ask questions of the stars of athletics.
It is key to shake up how the sport is presented and get the fans closer to the top athletes. The sport has some fine athletes with great stories to tell.
Build the sport. Innovate. Use social media. Keep track & field fun!
