APELDOORN (NED, Feb 12): Heptathlete Nadine Visser broke the eight second-barrier for the first time to win the 60m hurdles title in a fast 7.98 from Sharona Bakker (8.10) while European heptathlon champion Anouk Vetter just missed her PB in fourth in 8.27. Koen Smet won the men’s 60m hurdles title in 7.83. Good standard in the 400m finals with Liemarvin Bonevacia (46.82) beating Tony van Diepen (46.87) and Terrence Agard 46.94 while Madiea Ghafoor (52.88) edged out Lisanne de Witte (52.95). Sanne Verstegen clocked a fast solo 800m in 2:01.83. Highlight on the in-field was Rutger Koppelaar clearing 5.63m to beat Menno Vloon on countback in the pole vault.
