INDIANAPOLIS (USA): USATF has announced they will not send a team to the World U18 Championships in Nairobi, Kenya in July. A letter sent from USATF to youth coaches around the country states the decision stems from Kenya being deemed a critical threat by the U.S. Department of State. Great Britain, Australia, Canada, New Zealand and Switzerland have also pulled out.

It is sad to see some major countries not compete in Kenya, but, unfortunately, countries have to make their own decisions.
