PARIS (FRA): Pascal Martinot-Lagarde and Garfield Darien will go head-to-head over 60m hurdles at the Meeting de Paris Indoor at the Stade Bercy on Wednesday evening. The line-up also includes Wilhem Belocian, USA’s Jarret Eaton and Hungary’s Balazs Baji while the women’s 60m hurdles features leading Americans Christina Manning, Jasmin Stowers and Jackie Coward and Norway’s Isabelle Pedersen. In the 60m flat, Kim Collins will be favourite after running 6.52 in Mondeville while Stella Akakpo faces in-form Jamaican Gayon Evans and Olesya Povh in the women 60m. Former world champion Pawel Wojciechowski faces top Frenchmen Kevin Menaldo and Axel Chapelle in the pole vault with Godfrey Mokoena the long jump favourite. Olympic heptathlon champion Nafissatou Thiam faces Antoinette Nana Djimou and Nadine Broersen in her season’s debut in a three-event multi competition while Olympic silver medallist Kevin Mayer headlines the men’s multi event.
